Family Resources

What if church leaders and parents synchronized their efforts to fuel wonder, discovery and passion in the next generation?  At Calvary, we've begun to ask this question.  What we have found is that by combining the critical influences of the church and the family  together, we can show our kids who God is more effectively than either influence could alone.

From preschool to college, we want to draw on the elements of wonder, discovery and passion, infusing them into children, students and young adults. Why? To see God for who He is.  To help young people see themselves the way God sees them, so that they can love others the way God does.

We understand that being a parent is hard.  We want to do everything we can to partner with parent to help and guide them along the way.  We don't pretend to have all the answers, but we do know that sometimes, parents could use a little help.

Family Resource Center

On the lower floor of our main building, we have something called the Family Resource Center.  Inside, you'll find books, pamphlets, and information on upcoming events where Calvary will be specifically partnering with parents.  We invite you to come check it out.  Grab a book, a cup of coffee, and sit down and read for a bit.  Or just take a deep breath.  Sometimes, that's all you need.

If you're looking for a group of parents who understand what's going on in your life, check out the Think Orange small group on Sundays.  The group is full of parents partnering with each other and with the church to parent beyond their capacity.  Drop your kids at Orange or in the Nursery and join us.  We'd love to see you there.
