Operation Christmas Child

“Let the little children come to me…”

Operation Christmas Child is the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind for children. It began 25 years ago, and here at Calvary Baptist Church we’ve been participating for 20 of those years. Last year, we filled 84 boxes for boys and girls from countries all around the world, aged 2-14. Can you help us put the hope of Jesus into the hands and hearts of children this year?

These shoe-box size boxes can help unlock the good news of Jesus Christ and eternal life for children and their families. Children will receive booklets in their own language to help them begin to learn, and are invited to attend a 12-week bible study. Those who graduate receive their own New Testament.

You can be the beginning of a child’s greatest journey. The box they unwrap may be the first gift they have ever received, and the hope, love and joy that accompany it will be the best gift of all.

How can you help? You can pack a box or contribute to one, and/or donate towards shipping costs. See the Operation Christmas Child resources in our Gather area, or learn even more here: samaritanspurse.org/occ

Please bring donations to church by Sunday, November 11th.
